About the MR Therapy Centre.

Saint Mary’s Therapy and Imaging Ltd, which operates the MR Therapy Centre, was set up in 2006 to offer private patients an efficient and customer led MRI and MRgFUS service at St Mary’s Hospital. The company has no other subsidiaries and is not part of any other group of companies.

The aims and objectives of the MR Therapy Centre are set out as follows:
• To develop the MR Therapy Centre into a “centre of excellence” in all that it sets out to achieve.
• To establish the MR Therapy Centre brand as a leading provider of private MRI and MRgFUS services.
• To ensure operating policies and protocols are designed with the patient in mind, allowing the delivery of a “patient centered” service based on the needs of the individual.
• To ensure all patients are prepared, scanned and/or treated by an appropriately qualified and experienced member of staff.
• To operate a transparent pricing structure which offers value for money.
• To offer outstanding clinical care to patients in a private and comfortable outpatient area.
• To ensure that there are appropriate acute facilities to ensure the well-being of patients in the event of an emergency and to ensure that appropriate procedures are in place for the transfer of a patient to an acute service if necessary.
• To provide flexibility and personal choice with regards appointment times.
• To encourage a culture of safe and evidence based practice that is monitored to meet both the expectations of our patients and compliance with regulators and accrediting bodies.
